Florida Bay Club is a timeshare, wherein units are each individually owned during certain weeks and does not have any ADA accessible units. It is our intent to make your experience with Florida Bay Club as perfect as possible both during your stay and while navigating our website. We aspire to provide online content that provides an excellent user experience for visitors of all abilities. We actively work to maintain, assess and improve the usability and accessibility of our website by employing experts to regularly test our digital accessibility.
Please be aware that website guidelines for ADA Compliance are constantly evolving. Various areas in this facility, such as the path of travel to guest check-in (33 inches clear) and the path of travel to the pool area (31 inches) may meet 2010 ADA standards for accessible design. This facility is an “existing facility” under the Americans with Disabilities Act and guest rooms do not meet current accessibility standards. Although some of the measurements throughout the resort may exceed those disclosed here, the smallest measurements are as follows: doorways to the guest rooms measure 33 inches clear; doorways to the bathrooms measure at least 23 inches clear; doorways to bedrooms measure at least 31 inches clear. Toilets are at least 16 inches in height and showers are not wheelchair accessible. All our guest rooms include closed captioning available on the TV’s. The following items are in limited supplies, so reservations are required to assure availability: an ADA compliant shower stool, an ADA compliant raised toilet seat with support arm rails and secure locking, and a hearing-impaired smoke detector.
